IATA is operating from the Napa County Airport, Napa Valley, California, USA.

The Napa Valley is a fantastic location for flight training – it has excellent year round weather, the Napa airport has 3 runways with  all the navigation aids required for Instrument training including ILS, the airspace is open and there is very little other aircraft traffic. There are many airports located within a small radius of the Napa airport, these airports are suitable for cross country navigation training flights.

IATA has taken over the former Japan Airlines flight training facility. This huge facility is purpose built for commercial airline training.  There are numerous classrooms, a 42 booth briefing area, dispatch and flight planning areas, study rooms, cafeteria, specialist simulator bays, and an aircraft parking ramp capable of holding more than 80 aircraft.

IATA has a great fleet of 15 aircraft with plans to increase the fleet size considerably over the next 12 months.

We have a Redbird fixed training device (often referred to as a simulator or FTD) and plans to include more devices in the near future.
